De Smaakspecialist takes over Ooomega

Ooomega is now part of the portfolio of de Smaakspecialist. The acquisition of Ooomega was successfully completed by both parties.

Pieter Dirven, owner of de Smaakspecialist, is proud of adding Ooomega to the portfolio of de Smaakspecialist. “To achieve our ambitions, it’s important to meet the needs of our customers. Therefore we don’t only focus on organic anymore, the so called functional foods are an important part of our total assortment as well. That’s why Ooomega will be of added value for de Smaakspecialist. We will now focus on further development and expansion of the current product range of the brand. Adding Ooomega to the portfolio of de Smaakspecialist is a logical step that fits within the strategy of the company. The organisation is very well organized in terms of production, logistics and quality. This was recently confirmed by obtaining the IFS certification. The company’s own brand portfolio is solid, therefore the organisation is now open to collaborate with partners and brands that suits the company’s mission.
